Fund Manager Application
  • PSS PB Managerial Parameters
  • Manager Application Process

The PSS PB Managerial Parameters is an established parameter agreement of PB Managers and Investors prior to the commencement of the PSS PB for the investor. Both parties should respectively adhere to the agreed parameters to protect them in the event of a future disagreement. The stated offer parameters may vary depending on the manager's discretion and the following rates can be computed as defined and shown below:

Initial Investment Requirement
Initial Investment Requirement refers to the minimum initial amount an investor can deposit for a certain PSS PB account. The minimum Initial Investment Requirement for a PSS PB account is $10,000.

Lock-in Period
Lock-in Period is defined as the investor's account duration. It is the duration in which the manager of the PB accounts takes profit and after which the performance fee is calculated. The Lock-in Period is specified by the manager in his or her offer and cannot be altered once activated.

Management Fee
Management Fee is charged as a percentage of the current investor's account balance. It is calculated and transferred to the manager's account on a daily basis. The Management Fee is displayed in percent per annum. The amount to be paid daily to the manager is 260 times smaller (260 being the average number of trading days per year).

Sample Calculation
  Management Fee =
( Beginning balance per month) * (Management Fee (%) )
12 (months)

Commission Fee
Commission Fee refers to the fee for which services are rendered by the manager per 1 round lot trade.

Commission Fee = Commission Fee (in USD) * 1 round lot trade

Early Withdrawal Fee
Early Withdrawal Fee is defined as the penalty dealt on investor's actual balance, which is withdrawn before the end of the lock-in period. The Early Withdrawal Fee will be automatically transferred to the manager's account.

Sample Calculation
  x =
No. of days per quarter - No. of days upon withdrawal
No. of days per quarter
  y = x * Early Withdrawal Percentage Fee (%)
Early Withdrawal Fee =  y * Actual Balance upon Withdrawal

Performance Fee
Performance Fee is charged based on the performance of the fund during the lock-in period. The manager will not receive any Performance Fee if the investor's account incurred losses. The Performance Fee's computation follows the high water mark*.

Sample Calculation
Performance Fee = Increase in Net Asset Value * Performance Fee (%)

Situational example (assuming no management fees for simplicity):

Your initial account investment is $100,000.

At the end of the first month, the account makes $5,000, bringing its equity up to $105,000 on which there is a 20% performance fee of $1,000 deducted; correspondingly, the watermark is raised to $104,000 ($5,000 profit less a $1,000 fee). Then, at the end of second month, it incurred a $2,000 loss, lowering its equity to $102,000, on which a performance fee is not charged. At the end of third month, the account makes $1,000, bringing its equity up to $103,000, on which no performance fees are charged because the watermark was not reached.

Lastly, at the end of the fourth month, it makes $7,000, bringing the equity up to $110,000, which is a new-equity high by $6,000 over the watermark of $104,000 in the first month, on which there is a 20% performance fee of $1,400 deducted. The watermark is now raised to $108,600.
